The Rex Nordic Airrex Heater 300i is a heating solution like no other (except maybe the other members of the AH range!). An infrared heater the AH300i relies on the heat it produces to spread itself outwards into the space you are in. The result of this is a steadier but more thoroughly heated environment (and body!). Moreover, objects within the space are also warmed gradually, storing their own energy, taking less from the atmosphere when the heater switches to standby.

Lots of fans, but no fan

The AH300i, being an infrared heater, is fanless. The result is a quieter and less disruptive heater. As no air is moved in the production and spreading of heat energy, this means air pollutants and dust in the workspace are not thrown up into the air you breathe.

Without a fan, the AH-300i relies on heat to radiate outwards into the environment you want to heat up. This method of heating can take a little more time to feel like it is doing anything (albeit travelling near the speed of light!), but it is vastly more efficient than convection, which typically involves the movement of air in space heaters. Infrared heaters, such as the AH-300i, therefore, can be far more cost/fuel efficient than direct or indirect heaters.

Burns clean

Speaking of air pollutants. Remarkably, the AH300i does not produce any, meaning it does not need an exhaust or flue. Burning with maximal efficiency, the AH300i produces no carbon monoxide in combustion, meaning the fumes leaving the heater are not toxic. Unlike what one typically expects of exhaust fumes.

As well as burning clean, the AH300i also boasts excellent fuel consumption. The tank capacity of the AH300i is 45L and the fuel usage ranges from 1.05 - 1.24 litres an hour. Meaning that, even if you use it continuously, you’ll only need to top it up every couple of days!

Remote Control, App and Thermostat

Most heaters, these days, come with a thermostat. The same is true of the AH-300i. However, it comes with several options for you to control the temperature of your heater and the room you are in. The AH-300i, for instance, comes with a digital thermostat on it, a remote control and a phone app for controlling the thermostat. 

Digital Thermostat

Using a simple LCD display, the heater tells you the room's ambient temperature while also displaying the desired temperature that you have set it the task of reaching. Buttons below the display allow you to adjust settings, temperature (0-40°C) and power (on/off) to the heater.

Remote Control

The AH-300i also comes with a simple, compact remote control that allows you to adjust the settings, temperature (0-40°C) and power (on/off) to the heater from afar. No need to go back, save your legs and time.

Mobile Phone App

Connecting to the internet via 4G or WiFi, you can connect to your heater via the RexNordic phone app. Like the remote control, only working from really far away(!), you can control your heater from anywhere. Maybe you’re about to set off for work and want to get the workshop warming up. Maybe you’re going to be a bit longer than expected, perhaps some more work outside the office has come up, you can turn the heater down or off.

No installation

Mounted on castors, the AH200i doesn’t require installation. Simply wheel the heater to where you want it, plug it in and away you go!
