The AH 800i is the largest and most powerful of Rex Nordic’s Airrex Heater range. With a heating capacity of 22kW/h, the 800i uses infrared heating techniques to heat spaces. The result of this is a more steadily heated space, but one that is more thoroughly warmed up! Heating through the radiation of heat, as opposed to warming the air, is more efficient in more sheltered spaces as objects within the space are also warmed gradually, storing their own energy, taking less from the atmosphere when the heater switches to standby.

Hear yourself think and converse with your colleagues with ease and warmth. The lack of a fan, in combination with a heat reduction system within the heater’s exhaust system, keeps the AH800i at a quiet 48dB while in operation.

Clean air: no exhaust needed.

The omission of a fan, for the AH-800i, has the added benefit of not disrupting air in your workspace. The lack of disruption means pollutants or dust in the environment are not thrown into the air you breathe. 

In addition to the lack of a fan, the AH-800i is capable of complete combustion. Complete combustion means the AH-800i does not produce carbon monoxide, only carbon dioxide that is not toxic.*

*It is important to ensure the Airrex is used in a space that can provide it with the oxygen it needs to complete combustion. For example, a normal, reasonably sized space like a garage should be enough. Otherwise, if the heater is short of oxygen that is when incomplete combustion is likely to occur.

Burns efficient

In addition to burning cleanly, the AH-800i boasts great fuel consumption and capacity, leading to excellent fuel autonomy. The AH-800i, for example, boasts a 70L fuel tank and fuel usage of approximately 1.71-1.9L/H. The tank, therefore, can manage 36 - 40 hours of continuous usage. Take into account the digital thermostat that further aids consumption and the result is a heater that will go days, maybe weeks, without needing a refill.

Remote Control, App and Thermostat

I know what you’re thinking: “so what, heaters have thermostats!” Well, that’s true. But not every heater has a thermostat you can control via remote control AND from your phone via WiFi or 4G. Then again, the AH-800i is not like all other heaters.

Digital Thermostat

Using a simple LCD display, the heater tells you the room's ambient temperature while also displaying the desired temperature that you have set it the task of reaching. Buttons below the display allow you to adjust settings, temperature (0-40°C) and power (on/off) to the heater.

Remote Control

The AH-800 also comes with a simple, compact remote control that allows you to adjust the settings, temperature (0-40°C) and power (on/off) to the heater from afar. No need to go back, save your legs and time.

Mobile Phone App

Connecting to the internet via 4G or WiFi, you can connect to your heater via the RexNordic phone app. Like the remote control, only working from really far away(!), you can control your heater from anywhere. Maybe you’re about to set off for work and want to get the workshop warming up. Maybe you’re going to be a bit longer than expected, perhaps some more work outside the office has come up, you can turn the heater down or off.

No installation

Mounted on castors, the AH800i doesn’t require installation. Simply wheel the heater to where you want it, plug it in and away you go!
